I know for one I prefer openoffice to Microcrap Office and I saved a ton of money to boot. OpenOffice=FREE Microcrap=HUNDREDS

The embed YouTube video tag or
and
a spoiler tag (just because I like that one)

It did seem like a lot more were using it though in 2007.
I would like to see access to the playa info database online.

The avatar size is based more on page layout and potential annoyance from huge animated gifs than it is on bandwidth or storage space. Can you provide an example of a 100 pixel avatar that simply doesn't work at 80 pixels?

Any chance playa info could be uploaded after the event?
You'll have to talk to someone with authority on the tech team about that. I don't think they hang out here to see suggestions.
Yes, that's annoying!jkisha wrote:Dork wrote:Youtube link is in. I'll post a seperate message about it.

Speaking of huge annoyances--what about people that post those large graphics in their signatures!? Talk about page view interruption.

could there be a restriction placed on pixel width?

Use a smaller monitor or run your web browser in windowed mode. Pictures should look alot smaller that way.
If a mere picture annoys you that much just wait till you get to the playa and the noise doesn't stop for a week.

It wouldn't be annoying if you only saw the picture once. The one in your signature is definately worth viewing--one time, but the problem is that you see it over and over and over again.
Oh well, it is nothing that I can't live with, just another wish on my long list.
