Message stays in OUTBOX

I have recently sent my first PM to another member. I click submit and a new page says message sent. When I then check if the message is now in my SENTBOX, it is not. It is still in my OUTBOX. Also, if I checkmark the message in the outbox and click save, it is not placed in my SAVEBOX.

Have my messages been sent if they are still in my OUTBOX? Thanks.

i think they are "in route" or "not opened" yet while they are in the outbox and when it is in the sent box it has been received by the other person (someone correct me if i'm wrong)

You are exactly right. When the party opens the message that you have sent to them your message will move from the outbox to the sentbox.

Looks like you have to wait for your party to read your message.

Yes, and it tells you that maybe the person that you PMed is just a flyby night sock or someone from outside the community!

I have a couple that were never answered!
