The webteam comments are another part of what I was thinking about when I made that last post. She made a commitment to the board to help with a very critical, highly technical part and the perception is she left the team hanging. Again I might have a skewed perception but I distinctly remember thinking that at the time and I feel the same now.

Much of this was commented on both here and on the 3Playa so instead of ranting about it, I'd encourage anyone interested to run the search and form their own opinions...that way I'm not accused of making any personal attacks.

I think it sounds like you are trying to stir up trouble
because of personal resentments. (Not that I have
never done so myself.)

Just because precipitate might be posting a lot
elsewhere (if that's what you're implying) does not
mean she has time to do volunteer work. As I recall,
she has been unhappy with her job, and that can make
anyone busy, and really preoccupied, trying to figure
out what to do, etc. Having a job you hate sucks and
can make it hard to feel generous with one's free time.

Also, she may be less inclined to spend time developing
a forum that she is not using herself, when at the time
any commitment was made, she may have been using
this forum a lot.

For the record, the only change I signed up to make was the text-only
skin.

I got busy. And it turned out that phpBB is a piece of steaming cow pie
under the hood, so making the requisite changes was exceedingly
time-consuming and not likely to be compatible with future upgrades.

I'm also disinclined to eat at a table where everyone's shitting in everyone
else's cereal.

Y'all should feel free to read up on PHP and make your own modifications.

Glad you asked. I offered to do it many moons ago but it seems that there are those that do not trust my....... how shall I put it............lack of talents or some could do it better than I or something like that.

Besides, currently I have my hands full working on another project I'm currently gifting to Burningman. I too am searching for grand talent.

Now dont get me wrong (even though you most likely will because either it's what you like to do or it's what you naturally do.) butI've already come up with a few items for eplaya as TP has stated several times and would hate to go through as much trouble as I have gone through to find and deliver the things only to be snipped at by those that.......... say........ dont like the way I write or leave because of what someone else has to say or feel like whining because they are not happy with the phpbbs.....blah blah blah blah blah..........bullshit.
