Got in line 24 seconds after 12 noon.3 server crashes asking for my code 4 times and then up pops
that my code is being used and I have to try back again in 15 mins,Refesh page then I see the page that
said no more tickets at this time. I pushed on and got in line again. At 4:25 I got my tickets. DO NOT GIVE UP

I'm a happy human! Got my tix in 2hrs. 12noon-2pm exactly. This human is Playa bound!

I clicked in and had my ticket within five minutes. As the second hand swept to 12 I clicked, immediately got the page to enter my code, waited about 2 minutes and that same page reloaded, entered the code again and was dropped into the purchase page. From there it was just moments while I entered the CC info etc. It's been a crazy day and I didn't really have the time to spend on the computer today so I am very grateful for what I am now seeing was amazing good fortune. Sorry to all of you who did not have the good experience I did.

Well my sister called me yesterday to tell me she was able to buy 2 tickets in the sale and 1 is for me! So truly blessed! I love you sister!!!

Got mine after 4 hours and 17 minutes yesterday.

Things are not looking good for my son being able to attend, so this may be my first solo trip to BRC.

In retrospect I must say that this year's ticketing process was a bit baffling and apparently kept booting me from the queue each time it gave an error message and I had to refresh the browser manually - however it was a major improvement over the wait in 2011, and thankfully I am spared the months of torment suffered in 2012.

Logged on at 12:00:21 and didn't get mine until 4pm. I was starting to give up hope. I literally stared at my screen at work for 4 hours (wait, I do that every day). It acted up on me twice when I forgot to move my mouse around to keep it awake, so I had to hit refresh. Once I closed the browseer and started over due to paranoia. Once that new screen popped up, asking me for my code again, I nearly cried. Then I realized it was my turn to buy tix and again nearly cried, but for a different reason.

My two brothers and I have our tickets ride!!!! Thanks to everyone on here for all the updates and helpful information. I can't wait to go home!

As a side note...I just finished a purchase for some concert tickets that went on sale at noon today (Green Day at the Greek Theater in Berkeley) I used the Cntrl+F5 to refresh tip I learned here (courtesy of Junglesmacks) and completed the purchase within a minute or so. Not a single crash or disruption. I know the on line traffic was probably not the same, but still....

After all this practice, I'm finally getting good at it!

Glad to hear it on all counts. Presales are one of the things the event industry has used to alleviate the pressure for high demand on-sales. Some bands do multiple levels of presale for things like fanclubs, radio stations, holders of preferred credit cards, etc. It'll be interesting to see what happens on Friday when the bulk of tickets go on sale Friday.

You make an excellent point about the pre-sales for concert tickets. I suppose the directed distribution this year had a smaller, but similar, effect this year.

sigh, preregistered but alas failed once again to get tickets. It only took 12 days to get my federal tax return money but didn't post to my account until Thursday afternoon.

So its the STEP program for me once again. This year though I'm giving the money to a friend who's much better than me and won't touch a dime of it so when 2 tickets do become available we'll have the $ for them. So I'm crossing my toes and trust in the mistress of the Dust to get us to the Playa .
