The rise of world record attempts at Burning Man is hard to miss. (biggest clock, most supermans, fuckin red noses, biggest splosions, most titties, light saber battles ..most hippies holding hands.. etc).. Every year we are seeing more attempts and bigger more amazing spectacles.
A group of friends saw this and decided something could be done to facilitate these attempts. Burning Man needed someone to help support and guide these projects. Like the Artery helps the real art, the World Record Attempt Organizing Committee was formed to help those making these attempts.
Our mission is not only to give those seeking a record the support they need to break a record, we will also work to be sure that folks will get media exposure and whatever attention from world governing bodies that they may need to make it official.
