Catch-up from Saturday: Bought three stainless steel "serving dishes", unused (originally marked down to 99 cents each, at some long ago time when things were still "Made in Japan"), at the funky antique shop/outlet for things not sold at estate sales. They are now washed, I'll put them in a ziplock and stash them for the burn.

decoupaged the inside of this awesome footlocker i got off craigslist

before:



sanded and scraped, sprayed down with bleach, added paper lining, then decoupaged with pages from old MAD comic books





and voila

They have storage bins that look like treasure chests at Wally right now. They are pretty good sized to! Thinking about a few, painting them and using them for drinks or something.


Well it was sorta warm out today so went and organized the garage with all the bm stuff in it. Still have two boxes to take out there but it is a pretty good start.

breaking in the new orthotic sandals.. Doing thirty min @ 2.5mph on the tread mill a day. Opening up my step to conserve energy. Then add a higher pace.. Just in cse the trike breaks down..

good plan. last year i didn't take a bike and i must have walked 4-5 miles a day or more

For the last few years I've preferred to walk and hitch rides most places. But, this year I'm bringing a bike so I can get to destinations easier/quicker, which hopefully will aid in actually getting to the destination.

Got za bilgepump and hose today for the wastewater "fountain". Got a chi-wa-wa puppy, named him Hunter. A true ankle-biter.
