So the pipe tobaco makers figured they could get in on the market by making an unflavored tobaco for making your own smokes.
Now I can keep my filthy habit and not go broke!

Holy crap! You air conditioned the trike with a swamp cooler?

And to you anti-smoking zealots, thank you very much for minding your own business....I'm certainly not interested in your opinion of my personal habits.

The writer of this post didn't ask about your opinion of smoking. He didn't ask to be lectured and denigrated. He did not ask for your permission or your attitude or your condemnation. He asked about buying cigarettes cheap for the burn. He came to ePlaya to get information from experienced burners about the burn. I replied with real, tested information that he could use. You replied with ignorant, judgemental bullshit.
Snark is snark, and snark is cool, but anti-tobacco zealotry is tired, regressive and pretentious.

lemur wrote:it seems to be true about folks smoking more than normal...
most people ive known tend toward smoking more at burning man than normal.. often complaining about no ciggs/asking for them before the end of the week
for some reason folks who havnt been before presume smoking LESS.. due to heat.. being busy..etc..
but that doesnt seem to be the case..
or..just stop smoking now..

that is a convincing argument for us to all start smoking

alex_ wrote:o roll them on the playa just get a roller so even if you're extremely drunk or just intoxicated on something else you can still roll a cig

Chowski wrote:Yup. I just ran through the ten principles again, and I must have missed the one about preaching anti-tobacco zealotry.
Then I checked the name of this board -- Preparation, Tips and tricks. Again, nothing about criticizing other people's choices on or off the playa.
But clearly, your whining rants are significantly more helpful and burnier than me. I am sooo very sorry for having interrupted your ALL CAPS RANTING ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE AND THEIR CHOICES.

The Smoke Shop is across from a Taco Bell(Another good reason to stop) I forgot the name of the place, it's cheaper than most of the shops in Reno, definitely cheaper than the shops by Pyramid and in Wadsworth/Gerlach.
