I personally like shaved - having never liked having to pick pubic hair of my tongue. also i find most women i know prefer shaved but then as has been said its mostly a generational and taste thing.

My Genes Have endowed me with very little, slow growing hair Except my luxurious mane that is my pride. Being Bi I have preference for others of my orientation and have been the object of Gay man Scorn to which I respond "So you'r a Bear, I'm a bunny, now fuck off!" but Seriously I'f I was told to "Come back when you hit puberty" just because of my natural glabrous body. I would be offended. And I would recognize that one as being either insecure with their own Sasquatchness, or just your average Sexist Asshat that doesn't respect the human body and it's various expressions.
I'm a 3.14 on the Kinsey, in mind, habit, and body. It used to weird me out, but then I came to accept it, now it empowers me.
But if you really want to shed the sac hair, use fire. use mint soap! and Smile.

This stuff is awesome for preventing bumps but it's so much easier to wax

The only thing that stings worse than aftershave is waxing. Trish started on me once,,,, and I'm like,,,, 85% masochist,,,, I didn't care to have the rest of the dangly bits waxed for sure!
Shave with the grain of hair growth and that decreases the bump issue.
An just so ya know,,,, many of my toys are enjoyed MUCH MORE withOUT hair! jus' sayin'
