today was an important step for me, physically and psychologically.
i was woken up by a postal carrier at the door with an important document for me to sign.

i am now in possession of one ticket.

totally. i opened up the mailer and felt the embossed grid, saw the foils in the light, and my hand started shaking. i've got a big ol' grin i can't shake. bwahaha, it has begun once again.

I scored a nice, soft, fuzzy fleece hooded sleeping shirt, a double-layer fleece scarf, and a brand new Hawaiian shirt for my sweetie at St. Vinnie's today, all for $10!

I am going to go pick up these awesome LED/Solar lights I found at Kmart, 2 for 20 bucks. Total steal.

I'm kind of at a loss for what to do this week.
I'm cleaning the house monday and tuesday while I'm off. Deep, deep cleaning, and also STILL HAVE to tackle that stupid spare room and work on the garage more.

I was thinking of painting a sheet/tarp to use for our lizard lounge, maybe with a big lizard on it, with pinks and yellows for a background (like lemonade-y looking)

You might look for a painter's tarp for that--they're hemmed on all edges, a nice big size, lightweight canvas (will hold up better than a sheet or plastic tarp), and pretty cheap, especially on sale!

I'm bored, I've been in bed every night after work this week.
Going to round up some friends, and hit the desert for a good ol fire and some drinks... I'll pretend I'm roughing it in BRC... Heh.

Today I got quite alot done!
-Organized spare room, cleaned house, made room for more bm stuff.
-Got my goggles from Tom (thanks!)
-Got my creative juices flowing
-Juiced lemons for the lizard lounge's lemonade drinks (used a juicer, freezing lemon juice with a bit of water, in ice cube trays, I can make enough all summer for the whole playa!)
-Washing the bike also, before I paint and mod it!

I made some fire-colored crystal bracelets to go with my costume, and got a bunch of stuff from eBay--glow-in-the-dark dots, a tiny LED light set, a couple of pairs of overalls, a crazy hat, and some boyshorts to keep the dust out of my girl parts.

Organized all of the BM stuff in our basement "staging room" to figure out where we are, and found some cool El-wire flames for my sweetie!

Started on my first costume today, which is specifically for the "Anything But Clothing Night" at Booby Bar. As I'm now getting rid of my winter "spare tire", I will be wearing a real automobile tire that evening. Tried it on today -- just needs some really stout suspenders made from seat belts. Probably ought to accessorize with other car stuff. Thoughts?

I'm thinking of going with an oldy but goody... 'Surprise' in a box, with nothing else but a UPS hat. I know its cliche and over played.

My old butt is not really worth showing off, but the concept of shining some light on it with see-thru tail lights in the tire is hilariously silly -- which might be a good thing.
