rear axle for trike

i'm in santa cruz...
my axle snapped last year on the playa...
looking for a replacement...
anything like a junked quad or farm vehicle...
any leads?
i got a few bucks...

I used a threaded rod (from home depot) for one of mine.. Just locked the sprocket in place with two nuts on ether side.

How the hell did you manage to snap the axle ??
