Looking for 1 ticket

As a public service to the community, I thought I'd create a new thread to help two types of Burners: those with an extra ticket and those in need of a ticket.

If you need a ticket, introduce yourself here and let folks know you need a ticket.
If you have a ticket to offer, just PM one of the posters on this thread.

No need to go through multiple threads. People here need ticket(s). If you can, please help us get to the Playa.

My introduction:
Although passionately interested by Burning Man for several years, incredibly, I have never made the trip to the Playa. It's too complicated to explain why. This year, I need to go. Please note that I do not say "I want to go", but I NEED to go. All year, something has drawn me very powerfully to the Playa. There have been near magical hints that this year is the year.

I registered for the lottery - just once - and did not win. I managed to make it to STEP, but I am deep into the queue and it is now unlikely that I will be offered a STEP ticket. I have contacted the local Burner community, but all tickets are spoken for. Posted on FB and CL, nothing. Now, I turn to you, fellow ePlaya residents.

I am usually a pretty self-reliant guy and posting such a request does not come easily. But now, I need help. I hope the Playa will provide. Please PM if you, or someone you know, can help.

I would like one ticket. My entry in the lottery was not selected, and I've been a STEPper ever since. Rites of Passage was my first burn. It was nothing short of transformative for me, though I'd been inspired by the art of Burning Man for many years prior to being old enough to attend. I'm optimistic about making it this year. However, the odds do not appear to be in my favor STEPwise. I'm continuing to make preparations. My acoustic drum set vs. drum&bass performance is nearly finished. My list is printed and stapled, but I'm still missing item no. 1 - the ticket. Thanks for your consideration!

Certainly less of a pita, conceptually. However, based on my own interpretation of my post history, I'm not going to be a candidate for any eplayan's extra tickets, so I don't really have a dog in this fight.

Selling to people who deserve and warrant such a reward isn’t really all that Spiritual or altruistic, heck, it’s almost like they’re profiting off of good deeds. I seek no such Profit!!!! I don’t deserve a ticket anymore than the next Larry in line. And selling a ticket? What are you TicketMaster?

What a show of noble selfless generosity it would be if YOU were to give ME a ticket. Think about it…. I offer no sell-out above face-value incentive, in fact, I seek to balance that scalper imposed imbalance in the force by getting a ticket for less than face value, seems like the Right Thing to do, for everyone. Just trying to correct the scales of justice and finance. Don’t wait for someone else to make things right, you need to act now. Enter a fresh harmonic convergence with this Paradigm of bountiful altruistic luv, just as the Mayans prophesized.

Last year I set up The Last Bar on Earth out against the trash fence; give me your ticket and I will be there this year at the First Bar on the Playa, to greet you as you make your way ticketless across the barren wasteland, evading the combined forces of law and order, and hand you a cold drink in gratitude as you attempt to sneak over the fence. Of course, in the spirit of BM Inc. I will then have to turn you in to the authorities.

I’d pay for the ticket, no problem, but wouldn’t you rather feel really superior about yourself? Money is so bougie. I have transport from SF with some room, if you are hot or a chain potsmoker, and can be helpful setting up or taking down in whiteouts, blackouts and shoutouts. I could be a great asset to a newbie. Could be…. I help out where I can, do what needs to be done and take care of any problems, at least until any better thing comes along.

If you have no friends or need of serious coin, hook me up. Thanks, go burn something.
