Gave away ticket to someone who deserved it more

Postby waitforguffman » Mon Jul 02, 2012 9:37 am

My friend and I won two tickets through the lottery but last night I gave mine away to our camp leader to who didn't have one. Because he was doing most of the orchestration, was closer with the rest of the camp than I was, and was a three-time burner, I felt that he deserved the guarantee of going this year. So yadda yadda, I've never been to BM and I'm mid-way through a Jodorowsky-inspired LED costume -- please help me go this year! I'm seeking a single ticket, and I'm flexible on what I'm willing to spend.

Thanks!

Does this mean you're willing to pay scalper prices?

Not sure. I have to scope what's out there. I imagine the scalper prices are offensively high, tho. I'm optimistic something will materialize from posting on the forums

You have to admit that you chose your situation voluntarily.

I think what you did was heroic. Don't let anyone tell you different.

I really hope one comes thru for you.
