I got that off of a blog comment, maybe that was an imposter, but it looked official. the name was even a different color. I'm going to look for it now. Can't seem to find where i got that

For those unfamiliar with how the Burning Blog comments work… there's no signup or login required. You type in your name, you type in your email address, you optionally type in a web site address, then you enter your comment. If someone enters an email address that matches up with the name/email address of a blog poster, the site converts that name to a link to that author's blog posts.

oh man people! lay off the hatred & negativity of BMorg! we sound like a bunch of ungrateful children!

BMorg has made mistakes and caused problems, but this was the first year after a sell out. cut them some slack. it won’t be the same next year. if you really wanted to go this year, you can make it happen. BM has always been what you made of it.

it’s so sad to see all the negativity here. some scalpers got tickets, but most of the shortage seems to be due to a bunch of virgins getting tickets. it’s not like that’s horrible & evil.

anyway, thank you will chase for that update and i’m even more hopeful that all in my camp will be able to go.

I say stay on STEP and give your warrant to a critical theme camp mate. We have already processed over half the want queue in a little over a week. Granted, we had a few hundred front loaded before we opened on March 2nd. But at this rate, I can pretty much guarantee you will get a ticket if you got on STEP in the first round. STEP is working. We will announce via JRS the second STEP round sometime this or next week.

So I was looking at my confirmation of step email and when I viewed the source about 20 lines down or so it says, "Date: Fri, 02 Mar 2012 12:10:17 -0800". Could the -800 be my place in line or am I just delusional?

That's the time zone (-0800 = PST). You want the 12:10:17 time. You can see what "time" the STEP process is at to some degree in this thread.
