I've never posted here before- but have been obsessively following this board to see when our STEP time will come up- we are in the queue for two tix at 12:17:11
I just wanted to say hi- and congrats to everyone who has gotten tix- and also a HUGE thanks to everyone who's been posting updates with their timestamp- or that they've gotten tix elsewhere and are dropping out of the line. It's so exciting to see it get closer and closer!
Looking forward to seeing you all on the playa for my second burn this year!

I am thinking that a lot of the 40% newbs were overpurchases, because tix seem to be spreading around the community, either from STEP or burner-to-burner.

Two more successes, from the X:09:09 spot!!
My ticket offer came in at 12:10 this afternoon, while I was at work.
Saw it at 6:10pm and had a confirmation by 6:19!! :D :lol:

Two at $390.

It just dawned on me.... This makes me Triken's STEP child! :lol:
Elliot's Bicycle Service and Beverage Dispensary expects to be at 5 & G. Bicycles repaired, loaned and whatnot. Hours likely to vary.

There are actually 72 hours in which to buy the ticket, from the time the notice comes in.

I am seriously hoping to have everything ready that I want by the time Saguaro Man is here, but the monkey hut and other shelter stuff is done so its all just sparkles now, so excited to go. I am wondering which will get her first step tickets or the regional.

I am puzzled by messages on this discussion board talking about an email that has a time stamp that shows the time down to seconds. I received no email on March 2, just the above confirmation with the 12:20 time stamp. Now I am wondering if somehow the BMORG has my email address incorrect. That would be a bummer!

I'm really hoping this means that Paydirt and AA are just about up for theirs too.....

....and that Elliot sticks with Plan B. I can much more easily envision "Bro" than "Neph" as a moniker in his case.

we are posting our original time stamp email sent by burning man when you got accepted on March 2. Looks like you made it into the Q. I don't know where to tell you to find the original time stamp on your email, but you made it. woohoo!!

Amazing how the feeling of anticipation changes with knowing for sure I have a ticket!

Before, it was 'reserved' anticipation
with a huge dollop of faith that STEP would come through...

Now, it's 'no holds barred' gleeful anticipation,
and if it's anything like what happened last year,
there will be no wiping this shit-eating-grin off my face,
EVER. :mrgreen:
