All I know is that earlier some sales from some places did get the tickets pulled. Or unfulfilled. or something.
So, until such time as the mods report that ticketing doesn't want these reports, we might as well make them.

I am sincerely hoping that the BMORG can get after the people on Stubhub who are attempting to sell tickets over asking price for violation of contract terms. I wonder if Stubhub knows about that clause in the terms,

There are a few ways that the tickets can be revoked. Best not detail how here on the board, lest people take steps to guard against them.

Looks like we are doing a pretty good job out there - I just searched google for craigslist tickets and went thru 5 pages of them - all have been flagged for removal already.

To search on a broader scale, copy/paste into Google: burning man ticket site:craigslist.org

If we can be vigilant, the amateur scalper idiots might get worried and turn the tickets back in.

Having said that - before you flag a ticket post for removal, try to get the ticket information like was mentioned before so that you can send the email address and conf number to borg - every ticket they pull back is one more than we have in the pool for STEP.

Please don't get upset over offered prices on StubHub. People can ask anything they want - that doens't mean that there is a buyer. Ignore those eBay auction too that have no bids. Lots of people run around screaming "who'll give me $5,000 for this ticket?". Only bids and completed transaction have useful information. In fact, the fact that tickets are being OFFERED on StubHub for $1900 means that no one is currently willing to pay it - or that listing would disappear.
