Burning Man isn't Burning Man without a bunch of hipster liberals running around making "independent documentaries" to share with a million people on YouTube or Current TV, about the Places You'll Go.

What could go wrong?

PS, the reason the tickets sold out is because American Idol is taping there and they needed to give tickets to all the contestants. And the only reason they're doing it so they can film Tyler shouting: "THAT DUUDE LOOKS LIKE A LAADY!" (My karma is going to be that a bunch of Idol fans show up looking for auditions. As long as they bring mushrooms...)

*caveat: The biggest mistake I and my friends made is telling EVERYBODY about Burning Man. Fortunately, most of the fence-sitters have decided to sit out this year, and for the first time I truly understand this to be a good thing.
