I really like the idea of them pulling people at their top tier first. It is a really thoughtful way to do that. I hope its the case. Also, CONGRATS TO EVERYONE who has gotten tickets so far and will get tickets! So exciting! Hope to see you on the playa!

I've only heard of people receiving teir 3 tickets (on the forum and FB.) Anyone hear anything different? Is possible they're sending the emails out in reverse order, because I know they've stated numerous times the cheaper tickets would be drawn first.. that doesn't mean they will be notified first.

Thats the right way to do it. If you said you would pay $390 to increase your chances, then they should draw from those who agreed to pay that much first. Makes sense. Everyone has much more even odds now

So this is just my assumption...
Raffle all the 390's first and who ever is left over after the 390's are gone will drop down to 320 and be part of that raffle.

15,000 avail @ 390 but 20,000 selected 390 so 5000 will drop down to 320.
15,000 avail @ 320 but 20,000 selected 320 (+ the 5000 from 390) So that leaves 10,000 to drop down to 240.

Thats just my wild idea.

I feel like a lovesick little girl sitting by the phone, checking my email every 2 minutes, like I'm hoping to hear a word from a long lost love!! LOL. Constantly refreshing and getting excited everytime I see the "new email" notification, then getting disappointed when its just junk mail. This up and down rollercoaster of emotions is killing me!! LOL.

(I just need to remember when I get my email confirmation, not to scream at work! LOL.)

If you can afford to, then register for the highest tier (it gives you a chance at tickets at each tier). The drawings are done in order, lowest to highest tier, so if you're fortunate enough to get awarded tickets at a lower tier then that is what you will be charged. When your name is drawn, you will be awarded the # of tickets you registered for.

If you're getting an extra ticket for a specific individual or purpose, that's completely understandable. But registering for extra tickets simply to increase your chances (hoarding) seems like a bad move. Not only would it potentially come at the expense of other burners who you'd potentially block from getting a ticket (that you don't even need), but you'd be tying up that extra cash until at least June (when ticket orders are fulfilled).

Trilobyte says they are pulling tickets lowest to highest. I haven't seen it officially written anywhere else but he states it's true. To my knowledge, that's the only word we have to go on right now...

So are they alternating prices? I just assumed they would do all the 240's then 320's etc...

Nah- I bet they did all of the people signed up in the tier 3 first. Anyone in that tier that wins would be taken out of the tier 1 and 2 running giving those people a better chance of getting tickets. It would be kind of lame if there were tier 3 tickets left over if people in tier 1 or 2 didn't get a ticket when a tier 3 person did.
