Remember that there is a monthly charge of about $6. If you are awarded a particular tier, and they take the money from your account a few months from now, you'll need to include some extra funds to cover the monthly fees. I'd put an extra $50 just to play it safe.

Money will be taken from your card as soon as tickets are awarded, sometime between January 23 (registration closes at midnight on the 22nd, the drawing starts soon after) and February 1. The most important thing to remember, if you're using a pre-paid credit card, is to get it issued in your name. If it was not, then call the service number listed on the back of the card and get it changed before you register.
