After years of waiting, I'm finally going to my first burn next year. As we're coming from the UK, I was hoping to get some advice about bicycles - how and where can we get them from? I'd rather not buy ones as it's going to cost us a lot of money already, plus it would be wasted when we go home.

There are some used places, but I'm not sure of the quality of what you'll get, especially close to the burn. I recommend shopping on line for a cheap bike from Walmart, etc. you could donate it to someone after the burn. I know with Walmart, you can order it on line and pick it up at the store. I believe that if you I request it, they'll even assemble it for you.

Also, at BM there are communal bikes, but there's no guarantee you can get one, and someone may take it.
