stretch bikes

i am bike shopping on the resell sites and came across a Giatex. Is anyone familiar with these bikes? any opinions?

The usual advice is bring something cheap, nominally comfortable to ride, that won't break your heart if it gets trashed or disappears. Not sure if those bikes give much advantage for travel.

i was on-line hunting for a $5 bike with coaster brakes when i came across the Giatex; i just wondered if it was worth the $75 they want for it. truth is i have no idea if i will have room for any type of bike, so offers of piggy-back taxi service will be awesome...hint...hint
