Since the Rockridge area of Oakland is not so far from me, that always has some sort of resonance with me.

You can consider mailing them to yourself via the BRCPO if your so inclined- you can contact us on facebook or at google groups- BRCPO2oh!
we are a post office satilite that actually receives packages and post thru out the event- You can contact us and get the specifics regarding mail rule- but we are actually an official post office with the us mail- have our own cancelation stamp and follow federal law and regulation regarding the transport and delivery of off site to on site and on site to off site mail.
People have been known to mail in complete camps from many locations to avaoid hassles you have mentioned.
I imagine it may be an easier more satisfying option for you if you know your camp location you would address the shipping to yourself
with your camp address @ burningman
Black Rock City - Gerlach Nevada im ashamed to say after 8 years the zipcode still aludes me.
and pay the postage. ship it and it will be waiting for you come the first day of Burningman at the post office-
we like to encourage people to remember to bring MAILBOXES or to make some for receiving and sending mail on site- we do deliverys from citizen to citizen and camp to camp too thru out the event and give you a terrific hard time thru our disgruntled often naked shananigans to boot. This is a lesser known experiance joyfully suffered by many " in the know"...
I encourage you to seek out our facilitys both at 9 plaza and at 6 center camp and potentially at 3 esplinade keyhole...
we accept all forms of bribes and will most likely somehow inlist you if we find you schooled enough to entrust with the task of delivery and you can gift us one or more of your bitchin gifts for our trouble cuz we are all corupt like that.
