The name of our camp is called Sticky Rice Camp. We are in our 20's and 30's so that picture is obviously NOT us. We are cute though and our theme is based on embracing the asian culture and whoever wants to explore that as well. Instead of folks going to Thailand for fun, we plan to bring that to you. Anyone who knows thai massage, tai chi, fire/poi dance and brave enough to have a ping pong game with us, feel free to write us and let us know your talents. we are female friendly because we love women but don't discriminate against men. this is not a camp where you are just looking for a place to sleep and/or come as you go. we want everyone to get involved. i've camped with strangers before with no "theme" which created laziness among some so we're looking to form an honest community who is interested in embracing other cultures with hard work while connecting with their own.

KK, you mentioned sex in your first post before you said the name of the camp or a specific concept (on this page), so I think there was a little room for confusion. In the absence of information, people . . . speculate. Occasionally, newcomers trade on their looks or sexuality a little, and this is mistrusted until you've been here a while (after which being a little naughty is, frankly, almost mandatory).

I'm old enough to realize that it's usually a false alarm or widely misinterpreted, but these are the sort of statements that will cause the little head to completely drown out any sense that the big head might be trying to put in it.

well i missed kimchee camp this year so i've decided to start my own. everyone i know compares thailand to BM so this is my little experiment i guess you could call it. the camp isn't 100% defined so who knows, we might be gifting paper cranes instead. yes i'm new to eplaya so i'll keep an openmind. sexuality and sex are two different things in my opinion so i didn't think there would be a real issue.

You gals need to start getting specific in the plans for your camp and your vision. Otherwise, as said previously, minds will drift to the lowest common denominator.

It's only October, jk. A certain fluidity is okay. They should start thinking of infrastructure, true, and figure out how they might be as a two person camp. But finding other campers might end up waiting until spring, when people start thinking about it. IF they have a working, scalable plan then they can hit the ground running.
