Whatever it is, I need to be able to ship it from DC first. Hmmmm....
A bag of ice is plenty. But really no one should feel like the HAVE to bring anything cause most important is your presence.
Right Simon?

Alternately, I was thinking of bringing ice cream sandwiches. =)

oo ooo ooo oooooooooooo
FYI.. one of the coolest tricks I witnessed this year: Ice cream sandwiches make the perfect buffer between dry ice in a cooler. They will stay rock hard, but absorb enough of the freezing cold that the temp above them will stay slightly below freezing! take dry ice.. put in bottom of cooler. Stack a few layers of ice cream sandwiches on top. Fill rest of cooler with food. Cold food AND a cooler full of frozen ice cream sandwiches for the whole week! Voila!
It works!

Why yes we do!
We can manage the above with a little pre-planning. We have a chilli cook off earlier in the week for our camp and we seem to be able to manage that just fine.

I did keep a case of apples fresh for 10 days in the horse trailer!really really fresh and tasty too.
[mel, I told doc p I could remove several BIG bags of MOOP, by dawn-ish. I'll have ample storage in my horse trailer and the means to get them transferred there]
