Fondue sets I have....I think they mostly run on alcohol. Forks I do not have. Give me a little time on this one. I am a full-time antique dealer, have been for 24 years now. I attend 3-5 auctions a week, I am now on a mission to find the forks that will work. Count me in.......

Well, good news, bad news. Investigation is over, and I was cleared. However, since I had the stress breakdown I am on short term disability. I qualify for leave share, which will help keep my salary up to 100% while out on std, BUT, they have to exhaust all available leave first. Which means I won't have any leave left to take for burningman. So, the only way it looks like i will get to go is if I find a new job that won't mind me taking off for a couple weeks right after they hire me, or I just go leave without pay and assure a good firing, or I win the lottery. Ken wants to hang onto the tickets till the last possible moment in case something works out.

It is my very strong hope and prayer that my wonderful campmates continue my little dye shop dream. I plan on shipping what I have to them so this wonderful little piece of my heart will at least be there.

Wow, that really sucks TK, aside from all the work and planning you've put in the whole situation seems like a no win scenario.

Everyone handles stress diferently. Is there any chance you could just go back to work now and forgo the stress leave?

Nice, when you "bunch it up in a tube" do you wrap it around or in something to create that tube?

The one I used is a big plastic tube from a wet-vac machine. I should have left an end sticking out so you could see it.
Bunch it up and then I did wrap thread around it to keep it in place.

Minxy, pm sent

Thanks, I think I have some pvc pipe about that size. Hopefully I'll have time to try it tonight.

I need to use a better camera. My phone just does not capture the vibrancy of the pink and the magenta.

Not yet - the dye instructions say best if allowed to soak 8 hours before washing so I will have to do it on a weekend so I don't have to be up all night.
