We are currently seeking theremin players for our "Playing with Fire" art installation. “Playing with Fire” is an interactive musical fire installation that combines the classic physics experiment of the Rueben’s Tube with the unique electronic instrument know as the Theremin. Participants will be able to manipulate sound and fire by moving their hands within an electrical field. Playing with Fire defies the characteristic expectations of sound and fire, and provides participants with a transformative experience of the two. While all participants are invited to "play with fire", we'd really love to find some folds who actually know how to play the theremin (musically). We'll be running the project most nights from sundown until midnight and whenever else we feel like it. Our camp is called Heros and SuperVillians and we'll be located within PEX Village @ 8:30 & A (could possibly change). Please contact me directly at theinsidetrack@mac.com if you can rock a theremin!
