Please, please do NOT wear feathers on your outfits or headwear. Don't bring feathers at ALL. Feathers end up on the ground as MOOP. Sure they LOOK cool--but anyone wearing them is advertising the fact that they are either clueless about MOOP or just don't give a rat's ass if someone else has to pick up after them--because they will. Feathers will not stay attached no matter what you do-some of them WILL end up on the playa.
Just say NO to feathers!

Yes, tiny bits of feather will go on the playa, and the people who are cleaning up (which is each and every one of us, don't forget) will have to chase these tiny things that are easily blown away, and can get ground up and into the dust, becoming very un-visible, if not out-ant-out invisible. I hope that most of us are uncomfortable with the idea of making other people perform stoop labor in order for us to have a spectacular outfit.
