My first year I was mad at myself for bringing purely functional ugly sportsbras and wearing them as tops. I find that slips are my best friend on the playa, but be sure to go for the ones with a built in bra or other support. You'd be surprised how quickly your boobs start to ache without support--they're never out on their own this much in defaultia! Bring outfits that incorporate some supported time each day, to offset the bare times. You will be a very happy girl

As a large breasted lady, I'd highly recommend committing to spending some time braless over the next few months so your girls can go free for a bit and experience the glory that is running around shirtless in the desert. Just be careful not to sunburn your nipples.

But, besides that, I found that taking a strip of fabric about 2'x6' (long and narrow) and wrapping it as if you were wrapping a sarong, cupping your boobs gently into the resulting twist pockets, gives a nice gentle lift without all the added heat and irritation that normal bras cause. I had a few strips of fabric that just happened to be randoms from my scrap bin, soft jerseys and that stretchy, light mesh stuff, that ended up being vital boob cover last year.

Not quite mainstream (in part due to the expense of a good one, and the daring it takes to be seen in fancy underwear) but no longer the strict province of the fetish community or the historical societies. If you wear one, it's not going to pigeonhole you as A, B or C.

You could probably say the same thing about Rocky Horror Picture Show. Even that has become more "mainstream" nowadays. Cross dressing is more acceptable in general. Clothing in general has become more transgender. Corsets are popular with the Ren Fair bunch and there are some beautiful specimens out there.
