NO FEATHERS ON THE PLAYA

What to wear? What not to wear? Where to find and how to make anything from goggles to fantastic pieces of playawear.

The reason I bring this up is...I have chickens and an emu. I'm not interested in putting feathers on my body. (I've seen to many mites to shake the icky feeling). Just for the record, I'm opposed to all moop. Up in my bird yard I found a bead from something I wore ages ago. The feathers on the other hand break down relatively quickly. Even the emu feathers which are similar to ostrich. That just got me thinking. Synthetic Vs. organic.

For 2013 change my Playa name to 'Schwag Hag'
Butt? Does this make my face look big?

The first item of this list is damn clear (http://www.burningman.com/preparation/e ... iance.html)

NOT ALLOWED THROUGH THE GATE (i.e. you may be denied entry and told to store these items off-site):
Feathers of any kind, e.g. boas (they shed no matter what, creating lots of MOOP*)
Plants, living or dead, and anything that will break up and/or blow away in the wind
Explosives, aerial flares, rockets or fireworks
Firearms - including BB guns, air rifles, or paint ball guns
