By weird playadipity, I just ordered bacon scent for candlemaking for MyLarry. Not the real ting, but at least the cats won't be nibbling it.
I'm too jaded to think up a good sig-line. Need more coffee.

It's manlier if you drive the wick in with your bare finger.

I don't know that there's much bacon-related crap I haven't made. These candles are "eh." More a novelty. Bacon grease heats up and goes straight liquid pretty quickly, and stays pretty soft.
It's better to put the wick in before you pour the grease, like you would making any candle.

In the summer my grease jar doesn't ever solidify.

Could you possibly do like a mix with candle wax? Say like.. 50/50 blend of bacon grease and parrafin?

I don't know. You'd think, but how the bacon grease would melt all mixed up that, I don't know. I think it'd be easier just to buy bacon scent and add it to a normal candle mix. You can buy bacon soaps and candles, so it's out there somewhere...

eBay, from a company called candlechem. Bacon grease would burn and be nasty to breathe in. I suppose it could be mixed with cream wax or soft soy wax. It would have to be a jar candle though.
