Need Recommendation for Structure to Put our Tent in

Hi,

We have a 6 person dome tent. This is a tent with mesh openings and a rain fly. We used it at BM 2010 no problem (except for being hot). Due to the warnings about playa dust this year, we are looking for a structure that the tent can be set up in. It will need to be tall and have good walls to keep the dust out. Everything that I've found on the internet is either really expensive or has bad reviews. They are either really hard to set up or don't stand up to rain or wind. We aren't very handy and do not want to build anything.

Alternatively, we are thinking about getting a multiroom tent.

It would be really, really helpful if you could recommend a good structure for us. My eternal gratitude to anyone who sends links to the products they are recommending.

The over-shelters keep tents cool and don't keep dust out. That's the old blanket and spring clamp you're likely thinking of.

Have you considered a smaller sleeping tent inside the larger tent? Thats what we do. The 8 person tent gets a bit dusty but the sleeping space is super clean still.

first of all a good tight tent is best! But if that is not an option then go look at the "car ports" they sell at Costco. They seem to do a good job and aren't too expensive. Good Luck!
