Question for the veteran burners:
What would be a preferable tent set up: a shade structure with a small tent underneath it (and do you have a suggestion for an inexpensive, durable pop-up or other shade structure), or a large multi-room tent insulated with reflective material? Ideally we'd like a large multi-room tent under a shade structure, but that's outside the budget.
We've got a long list of pros and cons, but mostly I'm curious what you've found works best for you. Thanks!

Plenty of threads on the subject, radical self reliance.
Don't worry, it'll get weird...

Word is that it's the air circulation between tent and roof--1 foot recommended. Reflective doesn't help. Go with the small tent and shade. You'll be able to practice living outdoors.
