stretch fabric for dome covering

hey all, anyone care to share the knowledge of using stretch material as a dome covering. i've been trolling all over the net and am getting overwhelmed with all the different types of spandex and what not. also not many i have seen seem strong enough. any advice would be much appreciated. flame on!
