As someone who (A) grew up in the southwest, and (B) has been married to a Mexican for 25 years, I can assure you there is indeed "such a thing" as bad Mexican food. Just like there is such a thing as bad pizza, a bad cheeseburgers, bad grilled cheese

I swear to you that although I'm sure it's possible, I've never had a truly bad of any one of those items. I'm sure it's possible.. but..
