I don't know if Nevada City can top last Burnal Equinox event at the Foundry, but if they attempt to come close thats still gonna be kickass!

There's one in San Francisco and one in Nevada City.
Nevada City's event is more fun.

+1 for Nevada City. It's an adorable little town and the event is very intimate. It has two stages - one where live music is played, and a smaller area where DJs spin some music.. and these areas don't dominate the entire event, which is my favorite part. There's outside and inside theme camps, art cars outside with some art inside, and last year they had a temple structure set up. Lots and lots of things.

Another yay for Nevada City. I came here to learn about SF's event. Despite being at the locus of BMan activity, I often find SF events disappointing. Maybe I haven't been to enough of them, but there's something big city unfriendly about the place. Granted, since I grew up within sight of it, I might be negatively biased.

There have been some crazy-ass great events in SF. But it's been a while since I have been to something that knocked my socks off. I am prepared to be surprised.

Howdy, I have attended both and the Nevada City event location is awesome and they have many different areas, live msic, DJ's, fire performance area (yeah Controlled Burn), some mutant vehicles and many northern California,Reno, Tahoe burners in attendance! Most of my camp, Camp Upsie Dasium, will be there and I am playing the main stage with GravyBrain at 11:15pm. Find me and say hello!

I"m guessing anything within stumbling distance is long gone. you might try "The National Hotel". but really, just do a search and start calling. I don't really ever "stay" there/here, so have no real recommendations.
GV and a taxi might be your best bet. IF, there's anything left in GV.
