San Diego CORE Potluck and Bonfire 7/29/12

Passing on some info from my local CORE group...

The San Diego CORE project will be hosting a community event on Sunday, July 29th on Fiesta Island. The event will officially start at 6:00 pm, but there will be people at the site most of the day, so feel free to show up earlier.

*** Potluck Dinner (bring something to grill or a dish to share): 7:30 pm ***
*** Burning Man Ticket - Raffle Drawing: 8:30 pm ***
*** Bonfire and Fire Spinning: 9:00 pm ***

Meet some of the amazing volunteers on the build team who've helped bring this project to life, with hours and hours spent planning, cutting, hammering, grinding, sewing and illuminating the effigy for the CORE Burn on the Playa. Also, fire-spinning.

We're also raffling off a ticket to Burning Man! You will have an opportunity to purchase a ticket at Fiesta Island before the actual drawing at 8:30. You don't have to be present to purchase a ticket or to win - see the Facebook page (link below) for more info.
