Noon-5pm: KIDS' ACTIVITIES led by the Carnegie Science Center and Children's Museum of Pittsburgh: make Black Light Bubble Art and LED Lanterns, and learn how fireworks get their color. Plus see live artist demonstrations.
8pm-midnight: The main event! See fire spinners and hoopers, a six-foot tall Tesla coil, interactive fire games, EL-wire art, live demonstrations of fire-related arts (including metal casting and glasswork), and more! PLUS, dazzling ground-effect fireworks by Pyrotecnico, and a special illumination of the Carrie Blast Furnace Complex by Rivers of Steel.
All events are FREE and open to the public.
