Would you like your year-round world feel more like life in Black Rock City?
Do you wish you could incorporate Burning Man principles and culture in your local community?
Are you ready to take the next step to help the Sacramento Valley Burner community grow?
This is IT!
This is YOUR opportunity to provide input on creating a nonprofit to facilitate an inclusive and sustainable burner community in Sacramento Valley. What is important to you? Scholarships, Parties, Workshops, Education, Work Space, Communication, Resources, Decom, Precom, Community Service, Multiday Regional, Pants-free Monthly Bicycle Ride? General or specific, speak up and help us get headed in the right direction!
The people who put on this year’s Decompression (Burn the River!) and Spark are working to develop an ongoing community organization that advocates and promotes Burning Man style art and activities in the greater Sacramento Region. This group has been working to identify what an organization like this should be trying to accomplish, known as a Goal, further, the group has been figuring out things that the organization needs to do to support the goal, called objectives.
If you have any interest in Burning Man, local arts, events, etcetera, we’d really like you to come to this meeting and give your thoughts on the goal and objectives, let these hard working planners know what YOU think is important.
Key words for tonight are: Goals & Objectives
