For the folks who are new in these parts, the "State of Jefferson" is an old idea that refuses to die. The consept is to take Northern California and Southern Oregon and create a new State.

The idea is common enough that the name Jefferson appears quite a lot. For example, when I drive thru Southern Oregon, I listen to NPR on Jefferson Public Radio.

There's also a regional burn called SoulFire in Los Gatos. I know thats a WAYS away from you, but maybe you could make the trip down?

Yeah for making the decision to come to Burning Man! I have made it to PDF on the east coast and hope to make it to Transformus in the near future.

Currently, I live in northern CA in Lake County so not 'too' far in country terms from you. I would love to get together any time with you to discuss what is going to be I am sure another EPIC year on the playa. I too don't mind driving to share light, love and Burning Man with other beautiful souls.

This will be my 6th year on the playa and once again.... I can't wait. My camp which is mostly from San Diego where I lived for 8 years is just kicking into full planning gear. I would love to discuss our camp with you any time.
