My best friend and love of my life, Erika (The Red) Kupfersberger suffered a fatal brain aneurysm at BM on Saturday as the man burned. Her lost bag had her 2 Red Cameras in it. These are the final images of her before she died. As you know, having these last pictures of Erika is incredibly important to the family and I , and we very much appreciate your and the BRC coommunity's efforts to help us locate them.

The navy nylon/canvas bag has 2 cup holders on it, it was a fanny pack modified to fit the handle-bars. It should contain 2 RED digital cameras:
Cannon PowerShot a3100Is, red , and an inexpensive "FLIP style" digital Camorder: Jazz DV150, red.
It was (at one time) affixed to an orange+pink girls bike with Blue furry handlebars/seat.

I just read about this on the BM facebook page. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I hope you are doing better.
She is at peace and left this earth with people around her who loved her.

Maybe this was her right of passage to her next life? ( I mean that in a 100% good way, not bitchy or snarky)

I hope people are able to get the word out about this. Have you contacted BMORG to see if they can put a mass email out? Maybe you can contact some of the bigger camps and have them put it out as well?

I will also put the word out.

I'm so very sorry about Erika. It's clear from the article I read about her that she was a tremendous person in the prime of her life.

Please send that extensive description, if you have not already, to the email address within the link, and be sure to join the Jack Rabbit Speaks newsletter (also linked on that page). JRS sometimes post photos--or links to photos--taken from the hundreds of recovered cameras.

Thank you for your kind words and support. We'll be celebrating Erika with a 2nd annual Burnal Equinox Party in Napa. She threw the first one. More info to come!
