Hello! My name is Rachel, I'm 25 and live in San Francisco. I experienced my first burn last year in 2010 with my boyfriend, we had an absolutely incredible time and it became a very special place for us. In November, just after the burn, he was diagnosed at only age 25 with stage 4 kidney cancer....he passed away at the end of June. It all happened very quickly, I already have my ticket for this year, but seeing as it will be quite an emotional experience for me I'd love to have my little sister there for her first burn with me. I'm exploring every avenue, including considering paying $800 on stubhub, I'm just concerned with getting scammed. If anyone has a ticket available, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE contact me. Ticket are really becoming more plentiful all over the place as people flake out at the last minute. Sign up for your regional forum and check your LOCAL Craiglist listings. You will find tickets at cost if you just keep your cool. I am seeing them all over the place here on the east coast.
A good hint is to look at a real ticket that a friend may have, so you know you're buying the real thing when you see it.

I hate to encourage it, but I'm seeing tickets close for mid $500s on Ebay lately. That's only $140-$200 more than top tier..
