What I offer:
- Reasonable compensation. I have two extra tickets (physical, not will call) purchased for $240 each that I’m happy to consider (at face value, of course) part of the deal. What this means is that after we negotiate a price for my space in your RV (this amount could range considerably based on a lot of factors), I will pay with zero, one, or two tickets and possibly cash depending on the amount we agree on and your ticket needs. If I have tickets remaining after this, I will sell them to other friends of mine who have been asking me for a long time—there are no “leftover” tickets available, so please don’t bother asking me.
- Pitching in my share of help with logisitics and work pre-, on-, and post-playa. I’m a rather good cook and will make yummy things, even some with bacon. I’m also a computer geek and can help out with any technical infrastructure you might be bringing or RV issues that pop up.
- A space in my mapped theme camp (http://karmachickens.org). We’re a great group with good infrastructure (shade structures, shower, water evap, power, security). This year we’re placed at 7:30 & G. I could also camp with you somewhere else, but I really like my camp.
- A relatively quiet place to sleep. If your coach is party central 24/7, I probably won’t be happy. I can bring my own bedding, air mattress, etc. if necessary.
- Logistical compatibility with the Sacramento area, where I live. I’d certainly prefer someone based around here, but pickup/drop-off from/to the Bay Area could work also. If I have no other option, I could drive in separately. I’d strongly prefer to meet first before we commit to being roomies for over a week.
- Coachmates who never smoke indoors. All non-smokers would be a big plus.
- I have weekend early arrival and would prefer to arrive pre-event and leave no earlier than after the temple burn. Arriving Friday 26th and leaving Tuesday 6th would be ideal. To do this, of course, your group also needs to have the appropriate EA privileges. Otherwise I’ll either come in with you later, or come in earlier by myself and meet up with you.
- An RV with a working toilet, kitchen, and power system. I’d like to store some perishables, heat food up, and charge my camera batteries. It’d also be nice to be reasonably sure we’re not going to break down driving up the hill.
- I’m male, 47, easy-going, drama-free, and addiction-free.
- I’ll be a 14th year burner and a 9th year Ranger.
- RV type (class A [one unit], class C [over-the-cab], travel trailer, etc.), length, and age.
- What city are you in/near?
- Info about other people in your RV.
- Are you willing to camp with the Karma Chickens?
- When would you like to arrive on and depart the playa?
