An Open(heart) Letter to those offering tickets (Bay Area)

Hi,
My name's Mike. (Or Chi if ya prefer),
I am, naturally, so very interested in your burningman ticket, and so grateful that you are offering it for face value.

Last year was my first at the burn. So challenging, and so rewarding! Since then I've been traveling and working on a permaculture project in central Mexico, honing my music, learning to spin poi and teaching friends to do the same, teaching digital music making classes in rural pueblos, n other such adventuress.

Just recently returned to the US, working my way west from NY, and all the time figuring to sort out my ticket once I re-entered the welcoming arms of momma Cali. Of course, yknow how that went...

At the burn last year, I was part of the Laughing Monkey camp, journeying around the playa with coolers and backpackfuls of delicious coconut water, bringing a bit of oasis wherever we roamed. This year I once again plan to be a human camel for this noble cause, as well as to bring some Pan vibes to the scene, gearing up in furs n hooves n takin jazzy funky flute melodies to the far corners of Black Rock City. Recently too, linked up with the LoveTech peoples, and am superstoked to design a set for the ReMatrix, an intimate experiment in accessible, interactive electronic music creation that made its virgin run at Lightning in a Bottle this year. Also anticipating getting up on soundsystems n droppin some crazzy original electronic/live PAish sets.

Been thinking alot about what I have to offer to show my gratitude for a ticket.
A few ideas that come to mind include:

Creating an annuals/perennials food forest that would bear the fruit of my gratitude for many years, or tending to and expanding existing gardens to be more abundant.

Offering loving help and instruction for a variety of musical pursuits, including:
Flute
Guitar
Voice
Recording and Production (Pro Tools or Ableton)

Performances:
Dj/Live PA sets for parties
Acoustic sets for BBQs, weddings, etc.
Bedtime lullaby sets?

Audio of Original music
Custom Mixes and Mashups of your favorite tunes (like this http://soundcloud.com/biomimicrant/paper-worries)

Equipment:
A medium sized Peavey Guitar Amp in good condition

I would gratefully offer any of this that might appeal as well as face value compensation in cash for the gift of the key to my rite of passage!

Much love,
Chi
