I don't want to resort to buying a ticket over face value...

Postby bakersamanthaj » Wed Aug 10, 2011 5:39 pm

I've been trying so hard, using multiple different methods to ask for a ticket.

Every response has asked me to pay over what was originally the deal, some exceeding $700 for one ticket!

I really would like to attend my first burning man, before its too late.
I would like to witness the real deal, and have an authentic experience.

It seems more people are looking for profit, which saddens me.

If anyone has an extra ticket, or knows some way of getting me one, Please Please Please contact me on here, or at bakersamanthaj@gmail.com

I really do not want to give in to the poachers and scalpers. :(

Please help a sister out?

Thank you.

For what it's worth, there is not an abundance of face value tickets anywhere, that people are keeping from you in some kind of effort to force your hand into paying more for tickets. Pickings are slim. At present, there are approximately 15 tickets being offered (plus a couple more ticket deals in 'pending' state). We've had more than 3,000 new members to ePlaya since the start of the busy season (July/August), with more than 2,000 of them having arrived just since tickets sold out on July 24th. Your best bet is to read the announcements and focus your efforts on the threads with tickets offered. Good luck.

Pickings are slim, my silly brother waited too long and I've been searching high and low for him, best advice i can give you is stay positive, let the universe unfold as it should... and if all else fails start planning for next year.
