I'd like to add myself in this list (not wanting to start another thread...). I am near Corvallis, but can meet anywhere in the state. So if you have two tickets you need to sell, let me know! I've got cash in hand, and time to meet.

Thanks! : )

No one selling ticket reads "ticket wanted" threads. You have to get out and look. And don't offer more than face value. It's just a goddamned camping trip in the desert.
Read this.

And this.

and then start doing the legwork. Tickets come to those who work to find them. Those who stand with open hand get nothing but harsh reality.

Some people selling look, its an over generalization
to assume that NO one does. You looked at it. Why?
Trying to get your post count over 1000? Congratz!

I have read those posts, however, if it makes you
feel more important, and useful, sense you seem
to just be trolling the site looking for places to feel
useful, perhaps someone else will see your post and
read them in response.

I have been doing the leg work. I am not standing
around with my hands out looking for a fairy to land
in my arms and fly me to BM. Perhaps you might
want to find something else to do today besides
hanging out here working on trying to be the heir
overlord master eplaya guru and keep your posts on
topic and stop making assumptions and judgements
about how each of us chooses to find a ticket.
Post on this thread when you have a ticket to sell,
instead of judgement to decree.

Sellers occasionally look in threads during the off-season, they do not during the busiest time of year. Even the ones who don't post a for-sale thread have ample pickings from the responses in the for sale threads.

Don't jump down the throat of someone trying to be helpful by pointing out the obvious (this has been the seasonal behavior on the boards for at least 7 years). It's possible you may not have considered (or maybe you just don't care) that people use this site for more than just the buying and selling of tickets, or that this community existed prior to tickets selling out... but the hundreds of additional threads effectively constitute digital moop that makes the boards less effective and less functional. The CO, as well as several other forum regulars who are here 12 months out of the year being helpful as people plan and prepare their journeys, are doing their best to help us moderators point people in the right direction, so they have better chances of connecting with an available ticket. If it comes off as short or snarky, consider the massive number of people and threads being covered.
