I would like to offer my services to sell all your left over tickets that you are going to be stuck with prior to the event, in the Town of Gerlach for HALF of the face value. I will offer you 25% of the face value of the tickets right now! I think that sounds fair---after all, once the festival takes place, your inventory will be worthless!
Besides, I want to make a buck too!

As you probably have guessed, the town of Gerlach will be fairly locked down during the runup to and the duration of the event, If you're a non-resident and not in the process of conducting a transaction with one of the town's businesses/organizations will likely end up getting picked up by the Washoe county sheriff. While scalping and selling tickets is legal in the state of Nevada, they're having none of that in or around the town of Gerlach.

Yes, when you offer the scalpers 25% of face value of a ticket and then offer to sell it at half the face value, THAT IS NOT SCALPING!
As far as people being arrested in Gerlach for just being in Gerlach, I don't see that happening, because this is America, not Nazi Germany!
I have a strong feeling that I am not going get many offers from the organized scalpers to sell their inventory to me, but you never know.
In any event, I would never offer tickets at above face value!

actually in the town of Gerlach there is always a guy in front of the minors bar(bev's bar) selling tickets. We have bought tickets from him the last several years. He is licensed in the state of nevada and county of washoe. i forget his name but i know he is from the midwest. He has always been less than face value but i dont know about this year. i'm pretty sure he is conected somehow to BM as he always has alot of tickets. If someone knows his phone number please let me know as i want to tell him were still coming as well.

It seems to me that I've seen more than a few of the roadside "buy/sell tickets here" signs along 447. I have no idea how much they buy and sell the tickets for, as I have never had to stop at one.
