Desperate Virgin Burner Seeking 1 Ticket

These posts are better than The Daily Show. I have gotten a lot of laughs reading the same posts about why, how or when they couldn't buy a ticket. Then the snarking. Man, the snarking is hilarious. Sorry Sparkleferrypriestess, that you have to read the snarking, but it is very entertaining to me!

Now, as a long time Burner, I will let you know, if I had an extra ticket, it would go to a long time Burner. Someone that knows what it is about. Not a DJ, more likely a theme camp builder, mutant vehicle builder, or artist. Not a Burgin. I wish you luck, someone will help you. Be proactive, work hard on ePlaya and Craigslist and you will probably get a ticket. If so, I hope you do add to our community! Good luck!

I agree. Here is a poem I wrote last year about wanting to the Burn, to keep all you people fueled for today's snark.

Oh Burning Man, Burning Man
It's not fair,
Everyone is there and
I (don't) care,
For at your pictures I do glare,
So green with envy as I stare,
At yellow purple neon hair
And blinking fuzzy outerwear,
At giant globes of metalware
And psychedelic rolling chairs
With glitter sparkle bubble flair
On rainbow-tastic leigonaires,
Kneeling to women stuck in prayer
So self-aware without depair
At this rare week-long love affair....

Watching you burn

....So... do you spend your time on this website just to make fun of people? I didn't know that making fun of others was a part of the Burner Spirit. I'll take all the "naivety points" I can get. Obviously, I have never been to Burning Man, and I'm learning the ropes here. If you really want to nitpick one Virgin Burner over their posting style and spelling, I'm sure you have nothing better to do but waste your time. I guess all the heat was well worth it! Thanks for the attention. I will get to complete my final rights of passage into adulthood after all.
