I got 2 will call tickets, which I was not wanting to sell, but suddenly finding myself pressured to scrape up some money, and the potential owner of the other ticket is on the verge of backing out anyway.
Truly sorry to be selling these tickets for this price (or best offer) but I'm sort of against the wall. Also I guess I just decided to, or am still on the fence but going forward with this offer.
Insults/arguments in comments, offers in private messages.
peace anyway

Sellers are welcome to ask what they want, but if we the buyers keep paying higher prices, they'll just keep raising the bar. There are some of us that really can not pay more than face value and it knocks us out of the loop entirely. This includes long time Burners and those that are involved in large camp and art projects that have lost their ticket spaces because of the insane scalping prices.

But really, what is he supposed to say? It's the truth. If you show up late and don't get your ticket when they're available, and there's a scarcity, it's going to result in higher prices. Bravo to you if you choose to boycott and you stick to your guns, but it may end up that you're not going this year when someone who was willing to lay down another $200 will. No manifestos, chest thumping, words of encouragement, or whatever is going to change that fact. The forum doesn't ban price gouging because we're all adults here (or assumed to be in that age range) and we can decide whether paying the stupid tax is worth going this year or not.
