Another searching for tickets...with a twist

Another searching for tickets...with a twist

Postby Kuti » Fri Aug 05, 2011 12:59 am

is seeking one (1) to two (2) tickets (second is for my very good friend - he who has nomaded around the world for the last 10 years).

I will pay face value + interest (interest payable in hugs, playa dust, amazing pictures, stories, karma, somaliland wristbands, a plastic shirt I bought today, dinner of your choice, a player to be named later, a sweet youtube mix of Fela Kuti's best hits, one original modern dance to the funk classic hit of your choice and/or cheese).

the twist - right, so I am sort of in East Africa - I've been working for the UN in Somalia/Somaliland (happy to explain the distinction if anyone is interested) and will only get back to Amurika Aug 27 - yes, i'm flying back from Africa for Burning Man (order of operations being a little f*ed, plane ticket was bought before BM tickets, sigh - this is how I felt when it sold out

Anyway, thanks for those of you selling for face//gifting - and thanks to you guys who are patrolling these boards and keeping off the a-holes. Before I go, one clip of some awesome music from Benin - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAoaVfjz ... 7&index=25

Hope to see you there. And if not, have a great time, and see you next year

I'll play nice for a sec: anyone overseas from the US who has a physical ticket is guaranteed to have a forgery. The Borg doesn't ship tickets overseas, they must be picked up at Will Call. You might as well just give them your money.

Now- go hunt up a ticket like everyone else. There are a million stories with a twist, you don't get bonus points for that, not even for doing good deeds in Somaliland.
