I moved to northren cali to help with a buisness.. and that leaves me with not alot of cash for a ticket..or some of the other things. But that only makes next year better because im gonna have a winnebago, more money (i really hope), and my boyfriend to bring to Burningman 2012!..thus making my birgin year even more worth the wait!

So whats your excuses for not making it home this year?

Definitely a bummer but I totally understand. My first year ended up being 2001. I was invited in 1999 and 2000 but had a job and could not go. By the time 2001 came around I was SO ready to go. I have never looked back and my life has not been the same.

I spent 16 years going to Dead shows and developing a large family. When Jerry passed on I found a whole in my life. In 2001 I found a new and different family. I am not the hippie I was in the 80's. I have morphed. My life has evolved. BurningMan has been a big part of re-inventing myself.

Good luck and despite what THEY say, Burning Man will be awesome next year and the year after......

wow im jelous.. thats really neat. I never been to a dead show.. i've seen pink floyd in concert in 2007..and alot of other bands. I never heard of burningman until a couple years ago and ever since i really wanted to go, but i always had a job.

I'm looking foward to going to burningman ..and meeting alot of people and getting over my social anxiety. You seem like a cool person. I hope i meet u on the playa. Thanks for the luck. Im gonna hopefully have $1500 saved up for next year.
