Although it's almost guaranteed that one outlet will be in San Fransisco, and another one will be in Reno. Where in those cities, who knows.

Reno's outlet is the Melting Pot located right on south Virginia street. Next door to Romantic sensations lingerie store.

(very convenient)
Names pinemom, but my friends call me "Piney".

As others mentioned, they haven't announced the outlets for this year yet. For reference, here is the list from last year. I'd expect most of them to do it again, but who knows.

The Melting Pot on South Virginia Street in Reno
Cheap Thrills/Zoots on 21st Street in Sacramento
The Berkeley Hat Company in Berkeley
Sports Basement on Ygnacio Valley Road in Walnut Creek
Sports Basement on Kern Avenue in Sunnyvale
Sports Basement on Bryant Street in San Francisco
Sports Basement Mason Street in San Francisco
Disctractions on Haight Street in San Francisco

The Melting Pot World Emporium in Reno just posted this on Facebook:

"Tickets to Burning Man 2011 go on sale at The Melting Pot World Emporium on April 1st! It's gonna be another kick~ass year in BRC!"

To beat the horse a little...

I was just in Melting Pot yesterday and can confirm the veracity of the Facebook report. Bum deal since I stopped in before I got on a plane to fly home.

Assuming there arent any outlets in Kalamazoo. :P

Ticket Outles

Postby RebaNimbus » Mon Apr 04, 2011 1:13 pm

Luck shouldn't be required - all of the outlets are up and running with the exception of Sports Basement which will have their tickets distributed amongst their multiple locations within the next couple of days.

With Cheap Thrills out of business, did Sacramento get another outlet?

Nope, no new Sacramento outlet - sorry Sacramento! We love our outlets, but we're not looking to expand or add any new locations this year.

When/if you do start looking to expand outlets, I'd suggest Chico Ca get one.

Yes, you must have cash or a money order/cashier's check. No credit cards are accepted.

Here is everything you need to know about our walk-in ticket outlets: http://tickets.burningman.com/#outlets
